About The Role

Rincon Consultants is seeking a Communications & Conference Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role supports Rincon's presence at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional forums while contributing to a broad range of internal and external communications initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an organized, creative, and proactive communicator who enjoys coordinating projects, developing content, and bringing people and resources together. This individual will help manage conference participation from planning through execution, coordinating logistics, sponsorships, promotional activities, branded materials, and related communications to ensure Rincon shows up professionally and consistently across the markets we serve.

Beyond conferences, this role will support corporate communications, including internal announcements, social media, employee storytelling, and other initiatives that strengthen Rincon's brand, visibility, and connections with employees, clients, and industry partners.

This is an opportunity for an early-career communications professional to develop experience in corporate communications, brand management, and conference marketing while working alongside a collaborative team of communications, marketing, and design professionals.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Communications & Conference Specialist helps ensure Rincon's presence at industry conferences is organized, professional, and aligned with our broader marketing and communications objectives. They anticipate needs, keep stakeholders informed, manage details with care, and take ownership of projects from initial planning through completion.

They understand that conferences are more than logistical activities. They are opportunities to build relationships, showcase expertise, strengthen brand recognition, and reinforce Rincon's position in the markets we serve.

Beyond conference coordination, this individual contributes to clear, engaging, and consistent communications that connect Rincon's people, expertise, and accomplishments with internal and external audiences.  Above all, we're looking for someone who is curious, dependable, collaborative, and excited to grow as part of a creative and strategic communications team.

How We Collaborate

This role may offer a hybrid work setup, blending time in the office with remote work as business needs evolve. We enjoy coming together in person to collaborate, connect with teammates, and partner with clients, and may prioritize candidates who live within 50 miles of a Rincon office.

This role will require an in-office presence in Ventura, CA.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
